Cakes are getting very creative for weddings, groom’s cakes, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners and wedding weekend events. You might be ordering, or you might be DIYing your cakes, but the big budget issue is getting a cake that’s the perfect size. Not too big and expensive, and not too small and unimpressive.

So here’s a helpful chart that will help you figure out how big a uniquely-shaped cake to order, or pan to buy:
